What You Will Do

As a key member of our finance team, the Accounts Payable role keeps our financial systems humming and our vendor relationships strong. You’ll bring structure, speed, and accuracy to every transaction.

  • Process invoices with accuracy and speed
  • Match payments to purchase orders and contracts
  • Schedule and prepare cheque, transfer, or credit card payments
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain clear, audit-ready digital records
  • Clarify issues on pricing, backorders, or missing documentation
  • Ensure correct coding and approval on all payments
  • Support budget prep and forecasting tasks
  • Communicate with vendors and team members professionally
  • Help keep our books clean and our payments on time

 

What You Bring to the Table

  • Expert in high-volume AP environment
  • Transactional and vendor management skills
  • Diploma or degree in accounting, business, or a related field
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and complex data sets
  • QuickBooks experience is an asset; fast learner with new financial platforms
  • Proven ability to juggle priorities while ensuring data integrity and accountability
  • Clear communicator with a team-first attitude and eye for process improvements
  • Trusted to handle sensitive financial and personal data with discretion
