Dexel and the Lawen Group are excited to announce occupancy of the first four floors at The Press Block, with residents set to move in starting June 1, 2025, under Paramount Management. Located at the historic intersection of Barrington, George, and Granville Streets in Downtown Halifax, The Press Block blends heritage preservation with modern living - marking a new chapter for this iconic site.

Dexel and the Lawen Group are delighted to announce their newest development – the SOQU Residence. 

The Lawen Group is delighted to announce the naming of our Mumford Project (7037 Mumford Road) which has officially been named West 22. It will have a mix of residential and commercial units and as of recently the building’s residential unit count has raised to 140.

Dexel is currently pouring their 13^th floor with their window wall installation set to begin by the end of May. Framing has begun along with the installation of the pad mount transfer.

The Lawen Group would like the congratulate everyone who has worked on West 22 as the final floor will hopefully be poured around August 20, prompting our milestone event.  This event will be held on August 20th, to include and celebrate all those who made this milestone possible include contractors, sub contractors and tradesmen, and  of course our project and design teams. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication, and passion.

The Lawen Group is proud to announce that we are on track for completion in 2022. This week, Dexel will be extending the crane to allow completion of levels 18 to 22.

The Lawen Group is proud to release the much-anticipated exterior rendering for West 22. Currently, the 16^th floor pour is set to begin tomorrow, June 4^th. The window walls on the 4^th and 5^th floor are in progress and the curtain wall is currently underway.

The Lawen Group is proud to announce that The George has reached 80% capacity! While Dexel continues to work diligently on final finishes, amenity spaces and higher levels, Paramount tenants have been moving into their new homes since May 1^st. With over 40 new tenants moving in on June 1^st, this marks an exciting day.

The Lawen Group is proud to announce a huge milestone! The George has received its partial occupancy permit and tenants will officially be moving in to floors 1 through 6 on May 1, 2021. We are incredibly thankful to everyone who has worked so hard from the beginning. We could not do this without the hard work and dedication from our fantastic team, trades people, contractors and everyone who has assisted behind the scenes to get us where we are today.
