The Lawen Group is proud to announce a huge milestone! The George has received its partial occupancy permit and tenants will officially be moving in to floors 1 through 6 on May 1, 2021. We are incredibly thankful to everyone who has worked so hard from the beginning. We could not do this without the hard work and dedication from our fantastic team, trades people, contractors and everyone who has assisted behind the scenes to get us where we are today. We are excited to hand over the reigns to our sister company, Paramount Management. The landscaping has begun and we will continue to work on the stunning roof terraces on floors 4 & 8 as well as the amenity spaces.
The George is named after George Lawen and the logo comes from the Halifax Commons pathways which is adjacent to the building. The George has 171 residences, both commercial and residential and is currently renting both residential and commercial space. There is currently 2890 sq ft available to rent commercially.
