Summary Description:

Responsible for the superior maintenance and repair across all facilities and grounds within the company’s building portfolio.  Ensure superior quality, safety and efficiency in all facilities.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform general interior and exterior maintenance including repairs, painting, minor plumbing and electrical, appliance issues, upgrades, renovations, and landscaping
  • Conducts inventory control of maintenance supplies and equipment
  • Delivers preventative, corrective and seasonal maintenance according to pre-determined schedules
  • Maintain an accurate and comprehensive work order documentation system
  • Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations and ensure compliance
  • Provide input for the development and implementation of maintenance policies, procedures and manuals
  • Fosters a strong relationship with tenants and onsite staff to ensure reliable and quality service
  • Education and Training:
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Related Experience:

  • Two years property maintenance
  • Skilled trade

Skills / Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of maintenance practices, procedures, standards and requirements
  • Understanding of building information including water systems, electrical, heating, cooling, fire alarm, sprinkler, fire pump and generator
  • Comprehensive knowledge of workplace health and safety guidelines
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building code
