Project Notice: January 28^th, 2020

Noticed by K&M Inspections Consultants Ltd regarding the commencement of blasting for February 3^rd, 2020 at 7037 Mumford Road.

Project Update: January 24th, 2020

Demolition Complete

Demolition of the structure at 7037 Mumford Road has now been completed. The next phase that will commence is excavation.

Important Information Regarding Blasting

7037 Mumford Road will be excavated by way of blasting. ARCP has been sub-contracted by Dexel to carry out the blasting. ARCP retained a consultant to carry out pre-blast surveys for a 64 meter radius. Pre-blast surveys are now complete and have been submitted, along with all pre-blast survey documentation to the HRM.

Blasting is expected to commence the first week of February. Additional to this newsletter, notices will be sent out to residents within a 300 meter radius of 7037 Mumford Road.

All blasts will be monitored in accordance with HRM blasting bylaws & provincial guidelines.

Demolition Start Date

Demolition of 7037 Mumford Road will begin December 9th, 2019.

Important Information Regarding Blasting

7037 Mumford Road will be excavated by way of blasting. ARCP has secured the blasting permit and have retained a consultant to carry out pre-blast surveys.

The pre-blast survey radius is 64 meters. If you fall within the radius K&M Inspection Consultants Limited will be contacting you.

At least four days prior to blasting there will be a notification sent out to everyone within a 300 meter radius.

All blasts will be monitored in accordance with HRM blasting bylaws & provincial guidelines.
